Maybe you’ve heard the big news about Amazon getting into real estate. If so, you can ignore it. You’re buying a home in Hawaii and you know “offer not valid in Alaska and Hawaii” may as well be the state motto. Fortunately, though, the sellers of this charming Hawaiiana Hale, are offering a very Amazon-like deal to the successful buyer. The sellers will give a $2500 Amazon gift card to the buyer at the close of the sale!
This lovely nest in Kaneohe has been on the market for over 60 days and the sellers would like to move on to their next home. They’ve reduced the property price, moved out, and are looking for ways to spice things up and bring in more potential buyers. So, $2500 in Amazon credit is waiting for the right buyer, with no restrictions on how it can be used.
45-141A Kokokahi Place is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom single-family home on a lush, private lane. It’s an easy commute into Honolulu and is close to the Kaneohe Yacht Club, several beaches, and all Kailua and Kaneohe have to offer. It’s listed for $899,000.
If you haven’t heard what Amazon is up to, they’ve recently partnered with Realogy, which owns several real estate brands including Coldwell Banker, to offer real estate services to home buyers. The new program, called TurnKey, allows home buyers to begin their search through Amazon and to connect with a vetted real estate agent. In return, the buyer receives an Amazon credit toward move-in related services or Smart Home products.
The credits range from $1000 to $5000 depending on the home purchase price, and the credit is funded by the real estate agent and brokerage, who pay a referral fee to Amazon in exchange for receiving the home buyer’s business. The credit can be used for technology products, such as Amazon’s Echo, Ring, FireTV, or Sonos branded items. Or it can be used toward set-up services like unpacking, cleaning, furniture assembly, and technology installation.
However you choose to spend the $2500 in Amazon credit, the real prize will be living In Kaneohe, close to all the action in Honolulu, but in the relaxed atmosphere of windward Oahu. Hawaii is calling!
